Job summary

INDEX Consultants is seeking a Senior Solution Specialist in Sydney to shape and deliver cloud and infrastructure solutions across a diverse client portfolio. You will manage end-to-end delivery from discovery and design through to implementation and handover, working with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure technically sound and commercially practical outcomes.

You will lead presales engagements, craft scalable technology solutions, and deliver high-quality documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering cloud and infrastructure projects in a MSP or professional services environment.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender and modern workplace platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across Windows Server, virtualization, networking, backup and DR technologies.
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies, solution architecture principles and structured operational handover practices.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, communicate technical concepts clearly and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Azure or infrastructure are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud, infrastructure and modern workplace solutions aligned to requirements, security standards and best practices.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery from discovery to handover to operations.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to develop scalable, commercially viable technology solutions.
• Support presales activities with technical discovery, solution design, effort estimation and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including statements of work and solution designs.
