Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sydney team to drive large-scale cloud and networking transformations. The role focuses on Azure, M365, Windows Server and partner collaboration to deliver secure, modern infrastructure.

You will work across enterprise customers, manage end-to-end delivery, and help lift cloud maturity within complex projects. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering position offering growth and exposure to diverse

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in MSP, SI or customer-facing IT environments.
• Strong Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
• Solid Windows Server, VMware and core infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, not just BAU support.
• Networking across switching, routing, Fortinet, SD-WAN or wireless.
• Confident in engaging with customers and guiding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise customers.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and project teams on implementations.
• Ensure secure, resilient infrastructure built to best practices.
• Lead infrastructure migration and transformation projects.
• Implement networking technologies including SD-WAN, LAN and WiFi.
• Troubleshoot with customers and ensure successful delivery.
