Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects across Queensland and Australia.

You will design and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure, deploy Windows Server and virtualization, and manage networking across routing, switching, wireless, VPN and firewalls. The role includes hands-on delivery, documentation, customer communication and occasional on-site visits with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• MSP experience delivering infrastructure projects.
• Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure
• Windows Server and virtualization technologies
• Strong networking across routing, switching, wireless and firewalls
• Excellent customer-facing communication and documentation skills
• Experience with automation, scripting or AI technologies is desirable

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure projects
• Deploy and support Windows Server, VMware and Hyper-V environments
• Implement routing, switching, wireless, VPN and firewall solutions
• Deliver infrastructure refreshes, cloud migrations and modernization projects
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution designs and project handovers
• Mentor engineers through peer reviews and technical guidance
• Contribute to automation initiatives and AI-driven technologies across project delivery
