Job summary

Talenza is partnering with a well-established Australian business undergoing a significant technology transformation. They seek a senior IT professional to become the primary on-site presence in Sydney, responsible for complex escalations across infrastructure, networking, security and Microsoft cloud technologies.

The role combines hands-on delivery with leadership, working with offshore Service Desk and driving improvements across Azure, 365, identity and endpoint security, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Solid infrastructure and systems administration background.
• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
• Security experience beyond traditional desktop support.
• Experience supporting and resolving Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for complex incidents and major issues.
• Administer and support Azure, Microsoft 365 and core infrastructure platforms.
• Manage networking, systems administration and security-related activities.
• Support identity, access management and endpoint security initiatives.
• Work closely with offshore Service Desk for Tier 1 support.
• Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure, processes and documentation.
• Provide hands-on support for laptops, meeting room technology and onsite user issues when required.
