Job summary

Change Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a mature technology environment in Australia. You will own the support, improvement and automation of production Azure platforms, tackling complex issues and driving reliability.

The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and security, with hands-on responsibilities across scripting, IaC, and cloud operations. A strong candidate will balance engineering and operational duties in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure experience in production environments.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep (IaC).
• PowerShell scripting and automation proficiency.
• Experience with Entra ID / Azure IAM.
• Understanding of Azure security and monitoring technologies.
• Strong production troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Experience in enterprise/consulting/managed tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve production Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure and networking issues.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep and scripting.
• Work across Azure networking, compute and platform services.
• Manage identity and access with Entra ID, RBAC and privileged access.
• Improve cloud security, monitoring and operational controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
• BAU work, monitoring, alerts and tickets.
