Job summary

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) is seeking a Cloud Architect/Engineer to design enterprise cloud platforms on MS Azure and M365. You will lead architectural decisions and provide guidance to cross-functional teams in Canberra.

You will ensure compliance with whole-of-government standards, align solutions with target architectures, promote re-use, and drive automation, CI/CD and secure deployments. A strong track record with Azure services and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering cloud-based solutions on Azure.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in agile multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365.
• Develop high-level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Provide guidance for cloud engineers on designs.
• Ensure enterprise solutions align with whole-of-government standards.
• Provide input into design and build of cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stakeholder-aligned solutions.
• Promote and incorporate user experience considerations in architecture decisions.
