Job summary

NW Technology seeks experienced Senior Azure Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to support major cloud and digital initiatives within a Federal Government environment in Canberra. The role combines architecture with hands-on Azure engineering to design, implement and continuously improve secure, scalable cloud platforms and applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing Azure cloud platforms and solutions.
• Experience with identity, security and monitoring in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and infrastructure as code.
• Strong architecture and governance skills for cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise cloud and solution architectures across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Provide technical leadership throughout design and delivery of secure cloud solutions.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable applications, integration, networking and identity designs.
• Support platform automation, testing, infrastructure as code and CI/CD deployment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary business, delivery, security and architecture teams.
• Ensure solutions align with Australian Government security standards and DTA Digital Service Standard.
• Promote reusable, configurable architectural patterns and mentor team members.
