Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer for an Canberra-based federal government engagement. The role focuses on designing and delivering enterprise cloud architectures across Azure and M365, providing guidance to engineers and aligning solutions with WoG standards.

The successful candidate will liaise with business owners, scrum masters, analysts and testers to ensure architecture decisions meet stakeholder objectives and user experience considerations.

Qualifications

• Cloud-based solution implementation with Azure technologies (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL).
• Experience integrating cloud systems with third-party solutions (e.g., Dynamics 365 CRM).
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking (VNet, Private Endpoints), RBAC, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise cloud architectures for Azure and M365.
• Create high-level and detailed cloud solution architectures.
• Provide architectural guidance to cloud engineers.
• Assess impact of stakeholder requirements on cloud designs.
