Job summary

Capital IT Consulting seeks Senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to design and deliver enterprise Azure and M365 architectures for a Federal Government CIO Group in Canberra. Qualifications

5+ years implementing and managing cloud systems
Hands-on Azure platform experience (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL, Service Bus, API Management)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Key Vault, Monitor & Application Insights
Strong collaboration and mentoring style within Agile teams

Responsibilities

Design enterprise-level Azure & M365 platform and solution architectures
Produce architecture guidance for cloud engineers and shape design/build decisions
Work across cross-functional Agile teams — business owners, BAs, developers, enterprise architects and testers
Drive platform automation — testing, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
Keep solutions aligned to whole-of-government standards and the DTA’s Digital Service Standard
