Job summary

Queensland Cardiovascular Group is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day clinic operations and oversee administrative support across multiple sites in Queensland. The role emphasizes SOP development, compliance, and continuous improvement, with responsibility for rostering and human resources across medical, clinical and support functions.

A 12-month backfill is anticipated, with focus on patient care and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute business objectives and strategies within your department within the agreed timeframes as per the business plan.
• Develop SOPs for all Operations Departments which are consistent with best practice and any third-party requirements.
• Conduct annual review of SOPs in line with best practice and any third-party requirements to ensure they are optimal and compliant.
• Develop and execute quality assurance programs to ensure delivery of services consistent with SOPs.
• Lead and manage the company's clinics to ensure achievement of financial targets (budget), both revenue and cost structure.
• Solicit and act upon feedback from patients, employees, doctors, and other stakeholders to continuously improve service quality and patient satisfaction.
• Manage project continuation and commencement of new priority projects as agreed to by the Senior Leadership Team and in accordance with the Business Plan.
• Ensure accurate rostering of staff to support the delivery of services at each clinic.
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Services Manager to identify and implement improvements in the clinic operations.
• Provide line management to direct reports, including setting and managing key performance indicators for team members.

Operations Manager - Senior Leadership Team (contract)

The Operations Manager leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the Company's clinics. The role is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the administrative support functions across the clinics, ensuring planning, co-ordination, management, monitoring and evaluation of efficient and effective administrative support services. The Operations Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), whilst maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement and achieving business goals. Additionally, there will be some project management responsibilities in line with current priorities of the business plan. The role is responsible for all human resource allocation and rostering (medical, clinical and support functions) across the company. As a people leader, this position provides empathetic coaching, mentoring and direction to all direct reports with the view of maintaining continuous improvement and development of the team leaders to ensure exceptional overall clinic performance and patient care. The role will ensure outstanding service to each and every patient, and compliance with any regulatory or third-party contracts/accreditation. This is a 12-month backfill opportunity and would suit someone with a strong operations background, ideally with some project management and change management experience.
