Job summary

Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Lines claims team in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. This hybrid role requires three days in the office each week, with the balance remote.

You will manage D&O, Professional Indemnity and other Financial Lines claims for SME to large corporate clients, providing clear guidance, advocacy and high-quality client service throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims, ideally within Financial Lines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Experience managing claims with attention to process, detail and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Financial Lines claims with a focus on client advocacy and quality service.
• Support clients from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear advice and helping protect their interests throughout the claims process.
• Provide guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, including supporting clients where indemnity is declined.
• Respond to client and broker queries and liaise with insurers, claimants and external service providers.
• Manage moderate to complex claims in line with company processes and Client Service Agreements.
• Identify matters for referral and work with the Advocacy team on claims-related issues.

In this role, you will manage claims across Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O), Professional Indemnity and other Financial Lines classes of business, supporting clients through the claims process and helping to determine coverage.

You will work with a portfolio of SME to large corporate and ASX-listed clients, providing trusted advice, practical support and a high standard of client service. You will also work closely with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders to help deliver positive claims outcomes.

We will count on you to:

• Manage Financial Lines claims with a focus on client advocacy and quality service
• Support clients from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear advice and helping protect their interests throughout the claims process
• Provide guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, including supporting clients where indemnity is declined
• Respond to client and broker queries and liaise with insurers, claimants and external service providers
• Manage moderate to complex claims in line with company processes and Client Service Agreements
• Identify matters for referral and work with the Advocacy team on claims-related issues
