Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a dedicated Supervisor – Civil for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone project in Australia. The role requires leadership of civil works, oversight of safety, quality, and compliance, and collaboration with contractors to meet project specifications.

You will oversee large-scale transmission infrastructure activities, drive adherence to standards, and ensure proper inductions and risk controls across the site. Camp accommodation is provided on a roster basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a supervisor on civil scopes including foundations, piling, bulk earthworks
• Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations and substations 220kV or above
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Clear understanding of specifications and drawings

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards
• Take responsibility for the quality of work under supervision
• Ensure work conforms to specifications and Code of Practice
• Verify Hold and Witness Points are completed before starting work
• Provide project inductions covering hazards and control measures
• Lead safety-focused practices and environmental protections
• Close out defects promptly and initiate corrective actions
• Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures
• Drive quality across the project from top-down and bottom-up
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management system procedures and related checklists
