Job summary

ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture is seeking a dedicated Supervisor - Electrical to lead our Substations team on the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project. You will ensure construction work meets specifications, maintain safety standards, and manage subcontractors across 220kV+ systems.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication to drive quality and compliance across multi-disciplinary crews on camp-based rosters.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical project delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards.
• Ensure quality of work under supervision.
• Ensure conformity with specifications and codes of practice.
• Verify Hold and Witness Points are completed before starting work.
• Induct all workers on hazards and control measures.
• Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
• Close out defects promptly and track corrective actions.
• Lead subcontractors and monitor workmanship quality.
• Drive commitment to quality from top to bottom.
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management procedures and safety checks.
• Prepare Safe Work Method Statements and JSA cards with crews and review controls regularly.
