Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Engineer - Civil for the Central-West Orana Transmission Project in the Australia-wide energy hub. The role requires collaboration with the joint venture teams, management of site activities, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work on major infrastructure developments in a challenging, multi-discipline environment. The position offers bus-in/bus-out, camp-style accommodation for 14 days on site and 7 days off site, with roster-based arrangements,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Tier 1 contractor experience on large-scale projects.
Experience with substations 220kV+ preferable.
Experience on mega-construction projects.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication, safety-focused.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules and progress tracking with the construction team.
Conduct site walks and monitor works for safety, quality, and compliance.
Support procurement, cost reporting, and variation management for the works.
Coordinate with engineering, supervision, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication.
Assist in risk assessments and lookahead planning to mitigate delays.
Ensure adherence to project policies, procedures, and reporting deadlines.
