Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking an experienced Lead / Associate Director Civil Engineer to drive civil infrastructure projects in Gladstone/Rockhampton. Based in Regional Queensland, you will lead delivery, mentor teams and strengthen client relationships across Central Queensland.

You will provide technical leadership, champion quality standards and support Aurecon's growth by delivering complex projects that shape communities and infrastructure, while fostering innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within consulting, engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience delivering TMR projects.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers.
• Proven ability to manage project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards, design processes and infrastructure delivery frameworks.
• RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities and contributing to business growth
• Provide technical leadership and governance across multidisciplinary project teams
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and innovation
• Drive quality project outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and engineering best practice
• Support strategic growth initiatives and help strengthen Aurecon's presence across Central Queensland
