Job summary

Aurecon is seeking an Associate Director of Civil Engineering to base in Gladstone or Rockhampton, leading the civil engineering capability across Central Queensland and guiding multi-disciplinary delivery across transport and community infrastructure.

You will advance complex projects, nurture client relationships and mentor engineers while contributing to Aurecon's regional growth within a connected national network of experts.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in consulting or infrastructure environments.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to manage project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of Australian standards, design processes and infrastructure delivery frameworks.
• RPEQ is essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.

What you'll do

As a Lead / Associate Director Civil Engineer in our Transport Civil Infrastructure team based in Gladstone or Rockhampton, you’ll provide technical leadership, develop client relationships and drive the successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects across transport and community infrastructure sectors.

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction

• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within consulting, engineering or infrastructure environments and proven experience delivering TMR projects
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers
• Proven ability to manage project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement
• Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards, design processes and infrastructure delivery frameworks
• RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is essential
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills
