Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Senior Civil Designer for Roads & Highways to lead delivery of complex road projects in Gladstone or Rockhampton. You will oversee design delivery, mentor junior designers and ensure solutions align with Austroads, TMR and industry standards, while collaborating with clients and project teams across Queensland.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in civil design, with a focus on roads and highways.
Advanced 12d modelling capability and proven experience delivering TMR projects.
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring small design teams.
Strong understanding of Austroads, TMR specifications and industry standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Australian Citizenship.

Responsibilities

Lead civil and road design activities for complex road and civil projects.
Deliver high-quality design solutions aligned with Austroads, TMR and industry standards.
Mentor and develop designers to foster technical excellence across teams.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients to solve infrastructure challenges.
Contribute to successful delivery of major road/highway projects across Queensland.
