Stantec in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Buildings team. You’ll deliver a range of projects from concept design through to construction documentation for health, education, data centres and commercial/residential buildings.

You will bring strong earthworks, drainage, road and water network design experience, and lead on projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar qualification.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
• Experience in drainage design as well as general civil including earthworks, roads, pavements, sewer and water network design is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects.
• Act as a Lead Civil Engineer on projects as appropriate
• Ideally have experience dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies
• Self-management skills will be as important as your technical design and project management abilities.
• Prioritise workloads whilst ensuring our clients needs are met whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with your colleague's both locally and across the international Stantec team.
• Build and develop your professional profile both internally and externally by consistently demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver projects.
• Maintain an appropriate level of service to Clients.
• Assist with project management and business development.
• Support Lead Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.
• Execute project design, documentation and contract administration services including regular project reviews.
• Be accurate, diligent and professional.
• Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants.
