Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with strong design experience to join our Perth office. You’ll lead civil design from concept through to construction support, coordinating inputs across roads, drainage, utilities and pavements.

Open to Project Engineer or Senior Design Engineer levels; domestic relocation support available. You’ll mentor junior engineers and promote digital design and quality standards while delivering projects across Defence, DFAT, and building sectors nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor to Masters’ level degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–10 years industry experience in the Property and Building space.
• Commercial experience in Australia on local medium/large building civil projects in consulting.
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects across varied sectors.

Responsibilities

• Scope and steer civil works from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Coordinate inputs from roads, drainage, utilities and pavements.
• Promote buildability, safety and whole‑of‑life performance.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients and partners, facilitating workshops and de‑risking decisions.
• Mentor emerging engineers and champion digital design and quality standards.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in a national multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver civil projects from inception to construction within time and budget.
