Job summary

Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety Beaudesert is seeking a Senior Team Leader to guide a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality child protection services, including assessment, intervention, and case management for children, young people and families.

Qualifications

• Possession of a degree or equivalent in accordance with the CSO Qualification Requirements.
• Blue Card administered by Queensland Public Safety Business Agency is mandatory.
• Possession of a C class driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of staff to deliver quality child protection service delivery in line with legislation, departmental policies and guidelines.
• Allocate, prioritise and perform work tasks per policy, framework and delegations.
• Develop appropriate service responses to meet identified client needs including children, young people and families.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with training specialists to define and implement programs.
• Develop enduring service delivery partnerships to enhance cross-sector collaboration.
• Foster a culture of frontline service delivery, teamwork, and professional ethics to meet the department's priorities.
• Participate as a member of CSSC Management Team and contribute to quality assurance reviews.
• Provide authoritative advice on complex casework, policy, and practice to staff.
• Enhance the regional community by promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration.
