Job summary

Merivale is hiring for experienced chefs across our iconic venues and new projects in Sydney. Roles include Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, with opportunities to lead a kitchen and advance within a diverse hospitality portfolio.

You’ll work closely with other chefs to uphold top standards, grow your team, and drive day-to-day operations in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality restaurant or high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to lead service and maintain standards under pressure.
• Excellent cooking skills with focus on flavour, consistency and presentation.
• Enjoy coaching chefs and building a capable team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a section or the day-to-day running of a kitchen.
• Collaborate with chefs to maintain high standards across prep, service and presentation.
• Support team growth and performance.
