YUCO Hospitality Pty Ltd in Byron Bay is seeking a Chef de Partie to run your allocated section during service, delivering high standards of preparation, cooking and presentation.

You will organise mise en place, support junior kitchen team members, help with menu development and ensure food safety. A minimum of 3 years in a Chef de Partie role is preferred; formal qualification is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Formal culinary qualification not essential but highly regarded.
• Confident running a section independently.
• Strong cooking and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
• Organising daily mise en place and service preparation
• Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation
• Assisting with seasonal menu development and specials
• Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food wastage
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
