Life Without Barriers is seeking a Senior Case Manager for the National Immigration Support Service (NISS) to provide intensive case management for asylum seekers and refugees. The role focuses on delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based services and mentoring junior staff within Milton/Springwood and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in social work, social sciences, psychology, nursing or mental health or related field.
• Experience with asylum seekers/complex cases and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to build trust with clients and operate from a strength-based framework.
• Experience in leading or mentoring teams and coaching staff.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory environment for NISS programs.
• Understanding of current casework practices for NISS clients including trauma-informed care.

Responsabilités

• Provide intensive case management to complex asylum seekers (individuals & families) within the NISS program.
• Offer guidance, support, mentoring and training to Case Coordinators and Cultural Support workers.
• Promote evidence-based, trauma-informed, respectful casework and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support client settlement goals.
