Job summary

Whizdom is seeking a Senior Performance Test Analyst in Sydney to join a hybrid team. You will test card payment and financial transaction systems, validate API integrations, and lead performance testing efforts in complex, regulated environments.

You will design comprehensive test scenarios, execute SQL validations, and produce clear reports outlining bottlenecks and recommendations for improvements. Sydney hybrid work allows mix of on-site and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of card payments and the transaction lifecycle.
• Experience testing payment processing or financial transaction systems.
• Hands-on API and distributed systems testing experience.
• Strong SQL skills and backend validation experience.
• Proven ability to design and execute detailed test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute tests across card payment and transaction systems.
• Validate end-to-end payment flows and financial message structures.
• Execute performance tests and analyse results for bottlenecks.
• Prepare performance reports with observations and recommendations.
• Record and retest defects; collaborate with developers and product teams.
