Qualifications

• Experience or demonstrated capability in functional and/or non-functional testing within the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to execute tests, follow structured testing approaches and accurately record outcomes.
• Foundational experience or exposure to automated testing concepts and tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback and develop technical testing skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Analysts and delivery teams in executing functional and non-functional tests across multiple environments.
• Assist with identifying, recording and tracking defects to support timely resolution.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test cases, scripts and supporting documentation.
• Help analyse business and technical requirements to develop meaningful test scenarios.
• Execute manual and automated tests and support the review of test outcomes.
• Assist with measuring and reporting on test results, quality risks and testing progress.
• Support automation activities, including maintaining existing test scripts and learning new frameworks and tools.
• Apply structured testing approaches to validate system functionality and identify defects.
• Clearly document test results, defects and observations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts and product teams to support shared delivery outcomes.
• Contribute positively within agile or hybrid delivery teams while building your quality assurance capability.
