Job summary

Teachers Mutual Bank Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and member security initiatives as part of the SPF program. You will translate Treasury SPF requirements into practical business outcomes and work across risk, compliance, technology, and operations to strengthen scam prevention capabilities.

The role sits within a critical regulatory and transformation initiative with a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering hybrid working

Qualifications

• Senior Business Analyst experience in banking or highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting Financial Crimes Operations, AML/CTF, or fraud prevention.
• Knowledge of SPF and Treasury regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding AUSTRAC obligations and AML/CTF requirements.
• Experience mapping processes and eliciting business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse fraud and scam prevention processes, controls, and systems.
• Elicit and manage SPF-related business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with business and tech teams.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvements.
• Translate SPF requirements into actionable outcomes.
• Develop process maps, business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation readiness.
• Contribute to governance, reporting and risk assessment.
