Job summary

Peoplebank is partnering with a leading banking client to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive a large-scale transformation. The role spans business, technology, risk and compliance, delivering complex regulatory and strategic change in a banking environment.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years BA experience, strong stakeholder management, and a proven track record across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery. Banking domain and FinCrime familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

10-15+ years of Business Analyst experience, with significant Banking/FS exposure.

Responsibilities

Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business, functional, and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk, operations, and compliance functions.
Analyse and translate complex regulatory and business requirements into practical operational and technology solutions.
Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and business cases.
Lead As-Is and To-Be process analysis to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure effective delivery of requirements.
Coordinate UAT activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and business readiness.
Drive stakeholder engagement and provide recommendations to support decision-making across the project lifecycle.
Contribute to change management, implementation, and post-deployment activities.
