AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Building Services experience for our Melbourne, VIC team. You’ll lead mechanical design for diverse projects across sports, defence, aviation, healthcare and data centres, contributing to multi-disciplinary teams.

Applicants should have a mechanical engineering degree, professional registration, and 4+ years of design experience in building services. We offer hybrid work options and a path for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with current RPEQ/RPEV and Chartership (or working towards)
• 4+ years mechanical design experience in Building Services
• Proven knowledge of HVAC/Mechanical Engineering in buildings
• Experience delivering projects in Australia/NZ with client management
• Ability to manage priorities and communicate with stakeholders on deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical designs and delivery for major client projects.
• Review design calculations and drawings for quality and conformity.
• Mentor junior engineers within local and national team.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
