Job summary

Cognizant Consulting in Australia seeks a senior AVP, Client Partner – BFS to lead new business across banking and financial services. You will own strategic partnerships, hunt for net-new logos, and manage a portfolio of five strategic accounts with a $100M TCV target.

You will collaborate with pre-sales, delivery and service lines to craft AI-enabled solutions, forecast opportunities, and drive revenue, margin and client satisfaction in a complex, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a senior client leadership role with direct IT services sales.
• 15+ years selling into strategic BFS accounts.
• 15+ years in the assigned functional/technology area; certifications preferred.
• Proven track record of acquiring new business and large deals.
• Strong knowledge of digital and AI innovations in BFS.
• Engages senior client executives (C-level) in transformation conversations.
• Able to navigate a large, multi-dimensional matrix organisation.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account plans across the BFS portfolio to meet targets.
• Own senior client relationships and drive net-new logo acquisition.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts to inform planning.
• Collaborate with service lines to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
