Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a senior AVP, Client Partner – BFS in Australia to drive new business and grow a portfolio across major Banking & Financial Services accounts. This hunter-led role requires deep client leadership, consultative selling, and senior executive engagement.

You will back strategic account plans, forecast sales, and collaborate with pre-sales and delivery to tailor AI-enabled solutions that win net-new logos and expand existing relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in a senior client leadership role with direct IT services sales and delivery experience.
• Minimum 15+ years selling into strategic BFS accounts.
• Proven track record of winning large deals and net-new logos.
• Strong understanding of digital and AI innovations in BFS.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic account plans across BFS portfolio.
• Own senior client relationships and drive net-new logo acquisition.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts using Cognizant tools.
• Collaborate with service lines, pre-sales and delivery to tailor AI-enabled solutions.
• Conduct regular business reviews to drive account growth.
• Develop strategies to expand Cognizant’s market presence and margins.
• Engage in continuous learning on BFS trends and AI offerings.
