Job summary

Avina is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Port Pirie team, supporting participants across Port Pirie and surrounding communities. The role covers home, school, community and telehealth settings, with a predominantly paediatric caseload and opportunities to cluster clients in nearby areas.

Qualifications

• NDIS Core suitability or higher is required.
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative, curious and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants, families and stakeholders to implement meaningful strategies.
• Work across a varied caseload, predominantly paediatric and youth.
• Collaborate with OT and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Manage own schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
• Participate in regular supervision, peer collaboration and professional development.
