Job summary

Avina is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to serve Brisbane West, Ipswich and Toowoomba regions. You’ll work primarily in participants’ homes, schools and community settings, with telehealth options, and may access the Graceville clinic for focused work.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical supervision, professional development and leadership pathways. Localised caseloads and flexible hybrid working support a balanced schedule.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Commission suitability at Core level or above.
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants, families and support teams to implement meaningful strategies.
• Work across home, school, community and telehealth settings.
• Collaborate with OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology and other multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Manage your own schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
• Participate in clinical supervision, peer collaboration and professional development.
