Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver evidence-based assessments, interventions and behaviour support plans for children and adults within the NDIS framework, in Newcastle, NSW. You will work within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team to promote inclusion and quality of life, following child-safe standards and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Behavioural Science or related field.
• Experience with NDIS participants and positive behaviour support.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Complete evidence-based behavioural assessments.
• Develop and implement behaviour support plans.
• Support children and adults to achieve goals and improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with families, support networks and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prioritise workloads and manage clients with complex needs.
• Measure clinical outcomes and progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and WHS responsibilities.
