Samaritans Newcastle is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Therapy and Behaviour Support team, delivering evidence-based assessments, interventions and plans for children and adults to improve quality of life.
You will work within the NDIS framework, collaborating with families and support networks to promote inclusion, trauma-informed care, and person-centred practice, while meeting child-safe standards and ensuring outcomes are measurable.
Join our Therapy and Behaviour Support team delivering life changing support across Samaritans. As a behaviour support practitioner, you will complete evidence‑based behavioural assessments, interventions, and develop behaviour support plans to support children and adults to achieve their goals. You’ll focus on building the skills and capacity of individuals, families, and support networks to promote inclusion and quality of life. Working within NDIS and child‑safe standards, you’ll be part of a positive, collaborative team committed to delivering high‑quality care and achieving meaningful outcomes.
