Job summary

Air Link Engineering in Cairns, Australia, is seeking a B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Part 145 maintenance facility. The Senior Base Engineer will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our Beech 200, Cessna 208B, and Cessna 441 fleet, ensuring airworthiness.

The role requires CASA Part 66 B1/B2 license, type rating experience preferred, and a minimum of five years in aircraft maintenance.

Qualifications

• CASA Part 66 B1/B2 licence required with preference for Beech 200, Cessna 208B, and Cessna 441 experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in aircraft maintenance with strong regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on fleet to ensure airworthiness.
• Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on Beech 200, Cessna 208B and Cessna 441.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and turnarounds.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to junior engineers and apprentices.
