Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1) to join the Cairns engineering team, reporting to Senior Base Engineers, for maintenance of assigned aircraft. The role requires holding full Australian working rights, heavy and line maintenance experience, and a DHC8 classic or CL604 rating; safety is a core value and you will contribute to a zero-harm culture.

This is a purpose-driven position offering collaboration across programs and exposure to emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Experienced LAME B1 or dual licensed.
• Heavy and line maintenance experience.
• DHC8 Classic or CL604 type rating.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Ensure maintenance, documentation and certification meet MOE and CAMO requirements.
• Hold safety as a core value and participate in safety programs.
• Perform shift handovers and ensure timely handovers.
