Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the Cairns engineering team, reporting to Senior Base Engineers for the completion of assigned aircraft maintenance. This full-time role is based in Cairns, Australia, and involves working on airborne missions in a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment.

You will perform heavy and line maintenance, ensure maintenance, documentation and certification comply with MOE and CAMO requirements, and uphold safety standards to

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with LAME B1 or dual license.
• Experience in heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
• Hold a DHC8 Classic or CL604 type rating.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Ensure all maintenance, documentation and certification are completed in line with MOE and CAMO requirements.
• Maintain safety as a core value and participate in safety programs to achieve zero harm.
• Conduct shift/task handovers and ensure Critical Maintenance Tasks are completed prior to CRS.
