EatClub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Loyalty, to build and maintain backend systems that power our loyalty programs. You will focus on earning and redemption flows, partner integrations, and ledger accuracy, ensuring reliability across markets.

You will work with product and design to ship features, mentor peers, and push for robust test coverage in a backend-first, high-ownership team. A deep interest in payments and data correctness is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a backend focus.
• Strong experience building APIs (REST and GraphQL) and backend services.
• Solid SQL and NoSQL skills, incl. query tuning and performance work.
• Experience integrating with third-party partners and ensuring reliable integrations.
• Experience debugging intermittent production issues to root cause and preventing recurrence.
• Proficiency in automated testing and writing testable code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with product and design daily.
• Familiarity with AI development tools and evaluating their usefulness.

Responsabilités

• Designing and building backend services for loyalty features, including earning, redemption, and partner integrations.
• Ensure every balance and reward is correct, traceable, and reconciled across markets.
• Integrate with loyalty and payment partners so customers can earn and redeem as expected.
• Maintain loyalty reliability: investigate failures, fix root causes, improve monitoring signals.
• Collaborate with product, design, and mobile engineers to ship end-to-end features.
• Review code, enforce correctness with tests, and mentor junior engineers.
