Job summary

The Onset is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to shape a dedicated product engineering environment at scale. You will drive meaningful platform engineering work within a large global organisation without being lost in a vast infrastructure function.

You’ll own multi-region AWS, reusable Terraform modules, and robust reliability practices while advancing observability, incident response, and production health. You may explore AI-assisted tooling to augment engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Senior Platform/DevOps engineer with deep AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-region AWS setup across Lambda, Aurora RDS, VPC, ALB, Route53, IAM and KMS.
• Create reusable Terraform/Terragrunt modules used across environments.
• Maintain reliability with a 99.98% SLO and strong production health monitoring.
• Improve observability and incident response; automate health checks and runbooks.
• Strengthen secure cloud networking (Transit Gateway, Network Firewall) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage Puppet, Hiera for configuration management at scale.
• Lead platform decisions and drive next-version platform design.
