Versent is seeking a hands-on Lead Cloud Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. The role emphasizes translating existing AWS environments into clean, maintainable Terraform code and supporting scalable cloud foundations.

You will collaborate with engineers, manage remote state with S3 + DynamoDB, and contribute to CI/CD workflows while adopting AI-assisted development tools to enhance daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in real AWS environments.
• Ability to structure reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state (S3 + DynamoDB).
• Experience with Terraform import, moved blocks, and state refactoring.
• Comfortable integrating Terraform into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain modular Terraform code for AWS infrastructure.
• Import and manage existing AWS resources into Terraform state safely and accurately.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and remote state management (S3 + DynamoDB).
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to align on standards and delivery.
• Produce clear documentation and communicate technical decisions.
