Job summary

Mallesons is seeking an on-site Audio Visual Specialist to join the Melbourne Technology team, managing daily AV and video conferencing on the client floor and serving as the first point of contact for AV issues following ITIL processes.

The 12-month fixed-term contract involves setting up meetings and events, recording sessions, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality technology services in a premium professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting AV equipment.
• Experience managing AV for large events across premises.
• Industry certifications or experience in AV/lighting.
• Ability to work in Windows 11 and Office 365.
• Knowledge of AV networks and Cisco switching.
• Active Directory and Azure skills for user management.
• ITIL Foundation certification required or in progress.
• Ability to collaborate within local and national teams.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality AV and video conferencing to partners, staff, and clients on-site.
• Set up meetings and events with AV equipment, conference phones, projectors, and whiteboards.
• Record and edit meetings, events, and podcasts.
• Confirm AV requirements with clients and stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues; log incidents in ITSM.
• Coordinate AV equipment service with vendors and partners.
• Perform user account administration and general tech support.
• Collaborate with technology teams to resolve incidents and improve delivery.
• Follow firm policies and help improve service delivery practices.
• Undertake other operational tasks as directed.
