Job summary

SKS Technologies is seeking an onsite AV support technician to provide hands-on assistance at client sites in Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas. You will troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and deliver end-user training to ensure seamless AV operations.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in AV support or technician roles, ideally in corporate or healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, and conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Crestron, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated onsite AV support and rapid troubleshooting during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
• Conduct routine maintenance, software updates, and preventative checks.
• Perform equipment inspections and system calibration, identifying potential issues.
• Deliver operational training and guidance to end users.
• Assist clients during meetings, presentations, and events.
• Prepare post-visit reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve service delivery and system efficiency.
