Job summary

Omron Automation And Robotics NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to own customer relationships and drive profitable growth across the industrial automation and robotics sector. You will manage an established portfolio, develop End User business, and grow opportunities with OEMs and System Integrators.

You combine strong technical understanding with sales capability, negotiate, and lead end-to-end deals.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in technical sales within industrial automation or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, support and grow relationships with industrial End Users, identifying opportunities to expand Omron's presence across their operations.
Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening partnerships with OEMs, System Integrators and other stakeholders.
Understand customer challenges and recommend tailored automation and robotics solutions that deliver measurable value.
Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing, including proposals and negotiations.
Engage stakeholders to build relationships and identify opportunities for account growth.
Collaborate with internal engineering, product and commercial teams to deliver customer solutions.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasts and customer activities through SFDC.
