Job summary
Intelligent Robotics Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Automation & Robotics Engineer to lead the design and integration of advanced robotic automation systems. You’ll work across PLC, robot, motion and control architectures while integrating machine vision, sensors and safety systems.
The role requires hands-on development, mentoring of engineers and direct collaboration with customers to solve complex production challenges in industrial environments.
Qualifications
- Experienced automation/robotics engineer with breadth to understand complete systems.
- Strong experience in industrial automation across multiple technologies.
- Ability to design, develop and integrate robotic automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete robotic automation systems.
- Develop PLC, robot, motion and control architectures.
- Program and integrate industrial robots and cobots.
- Develop and commission PLC/HMI applications.
- Integrate machine vision, sensors and advanced sensing tech.
- Develop servo and motion-control applications.
- Lead technical aspects of projects and mentor engineers.
- Troubleshoot multidisciplinary problems and support FAT/site commissioning.
- Collaborate with customers to solve production challenges and contribute to R&D.
