Job summary
Alliance Automation in Australia is seeking a Senior Control Systems & Safety Engineer to deliver high‑quality control systems, automation and functional safety solutions across complex industrial environments.
You will work directly with clients, own engineering deliverables from design through commissioning, apply safety principles per IEC 61508/61511/ISO 13849, and lead projects with a proactive, safety‑minded team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and proven control systems experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in control systems engineering in heavy industry or process environments.
- Hands-on design, programming and commissioning of industrial control systems.
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms and industrial networks.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and commission advanced control system solutions across industrial environments.
- Collaborate with clients to define requirements and prepare scopes of work.
- Ensure project tasks meet schedules and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support to customers and maintain system reliability.
- Promote health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) throughout projects.
