Job summary

National Australia Bank is seeking a Senior Associate in the Credit Structuring & Execution team in NSW/ACT. You will contribute to structuring credit transactions, perform financial analysis, and manage end-to-end processes for key clients.

The role emphasizes risk management, policy knowledge, and delivering a high-quality client experience. You will collaborate with Client Coverage, Product Specialists, and Credit teams, coach junior staff, and support continuous improvement in credit

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance
World-class customer service and relationship skills
Experience in Property Finance or Corporate Finance (with Property Finance exposure)
Cashflow lending skills are desirable
Advanced understanding of Risk policies including Credit Risk and AML

Responsibilities

Assist with structuring credit transactions and end-to-end process including credit submissions, financial analysis and modelling, documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Monitor risk profile and portfolio hygiene; ensure data accuracy across systems.
Review valuation reports and submit for sign-off when required.
Review and submit monthly progress claims for construction transactions for approval.
Coordinate workflow between Client Coverage, CSE, Product Specialists, Credit and client support teams for a seamless client experience.
Maintain awareness of credit policy, market risk, and internal risk appetite.
Drive quality and continuous improvement in credit submissions, turnaround times, and risk management within CSE.
