Job summary

NAB in Melbourne is seeking a customer-facing professional to engage with clients alongside Coverage Bankers, owning end-to-end execution on complex transactions from credit memo and modelling to documentation and stakeholder recommendations.

You will partner with Client Coverage, Markets and Products, manage risk and compliance, support structuring and execution, and coach junior team members while delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical, credit and financial analysis capability, including financial modelling.
• Understanding of debt and financial markets products, with solid credit and execution experience (including documentation).
• Proven ability to work across internal stakeholders and deliver in a regulated, compliance-focused environment.
• Customer-focused, with strong organisational and time management skills and a track record of timely high-quality work.
• CIB experience preferred, but strong customer-facing banking experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Client Coverage, Markets and Products, plus internal partners to deliver strong customer satisfaction and drive growth
• Manage ongoing risk profile monitoring and compliance requirements across assigned client groups, keeping portfolio hygiene to a high standard
• Support transaction structuring and end-to-end execution, including credit submissions, financial modelling, documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Embed quality, consistency and continuous improvement in CSE, improving turnaround times and managing business risks
• Provide strong stakeholder management and coach junior team members (Associates/Analysts) to uplift capability and performance
