Job summary

Piper Alderman is seeking an experienced Associate to join the Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team in our Sydney office. You will work on a broad range of building, construction and infrastructure projects for developers, head contractors, consultants and subcontractors.

The role offers exposure to front end and back-end work across 2-3 partners, with mentoring and opportunities to develop your career within our national team.

Qualifications

• Admitted with circa 3 years PQE experience in a reputable construction/projects practice.
• Exposure to both front end and back-end work.
• Excellent academic record.
• Demonstrable strong technical legal skills.
• Commitment to excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Draft contractual and litigation documentation for construction projects.
• Provide commercial legal advice to stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Work across front end (non-contentious) and back-end (contentious) matters.
• Collaborate with partners and internal/external clients to manage matters.
