Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Global Trade Operations team is seeking a Senior Associate to drive Operational Excellence across Trade Finance activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies and regulatory commitments. You will assess quality, coach teams, and partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate trade documentation and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of AML and sanctions requirements.
• Experience coaching individuals to achieve best quality.
• Understanding of trade finance processes and settlement.

Responsibilities

• Complete the required number of quality assessments whilst maintaining adherence to schedule.
• Mitigate risk for GTO via prompt identification, logging and remediation of risk items.
• Set and maintain the standard to which GTO operates in its decision making and regulatory submissions.
• Engage multiple stakeholders to provide evidence and data-driven feedback; provide tailored guidance when needed.
