Job summary

NAB Senior Associate, Credit Structuring & Execution in Melbourne focuses on client engagement alongside Coverage Bankers, owning end-to-end execution from credit memo and modelling to documentation and stakeholder recommendations.

In this permanent role, you will partner with Client Coverage, Markets and Products to deliver strong customer outcomes, monitor risk and compliance, support transaction structuring, and coach junior team members within the Corporate C&IB CSE team.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical, credit and financial analysis capability, including financial modelling.
• Understanding of debt and financial markets products, with solid credit and execution experience (including documentation).
• Proven ability to work across internal stakeholders and deliver in a regulated, compliance-focused environment.
• Customer-focused, with strong organisational and time management skills and a proven record of delivering high-quality work within required timelines.
• C&IB experience preferred, but strong customer-facing banking experience (including B&PB) and emerging G2 talent with clear potential are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Client Coverage, Markets and Products, plus internal partners to deliver strong customer satisfaction and drive growth
• Manage ongoing risk profile monitoring and compliance requirements across assigned client groups, keeping portfolio hygiene to a high standard
• Support transaction structuring and end-to-end execution, including credit submissions, financial modelling, documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Embed quality, consistency and continuous improvement in CSE, improving turnaround times and managing business risks
• Provide strong stakeholder management and coach junior team members (Associates/Analysts) to uplift capability and performance
